What opportunities have helped shape your career?

My internships have helped shape my career. Since my junior year of college, I took every internship I could get just so I could expose myself to the different areas of the industry – from media production, to photography, to office administration, to public relations, to manufacturing and styling. The list truly goes on! I worked for free for a very long time before I ever started to make an income for myself. I thank my parents for making it possible to do so.

What words of wisdom or advice do you live by?

Never doubt what you are made of! That is what my business stands behind, and that is what I practice every day personally.

Which Delta Zeta shared value resonates with you most, and why?

Belonging. Having a sense of belonging is key to survival. As humans, we are a social species. We thrive when we feel like we belong and play a part in something bigger than ourselves. Belonging is the ability to act out an important role not just for the betterment of yourself but for others. It’s feeling wanted and fulfilled. Without that, what gives us purpose?
