Delta Zeta was founded at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Today, our National Historical Museum and Headquarters are located there, creating a home that is truly unique.

The National Historical Museum is a place filled with history and warmth. Each room and its furnishings hold captivating stories of the sisters' past. The location has been recognized by the Oxford City Council as a Historic Site, solidifying its significance in our community.

The Archives Committee at the National Historical Museum works to preserve Delta Zeta's rich history. They also create exhibits that showcase our Sorority's story, as well as the remarkable journeys of our members. From the virtual tour to traveling exhibits, we bring to life the values of Delta Zeta and the  ways our members truly inspire action and impact lives globally.

Museum History at a Glance

Constructed in 1884 by Frank McCord, our home holds a special place in Oxford, Ohio. Delta Zeta Sorority acquired and restored the house in 1981, thanks to the generous contributions of our alumnae, chapters and magnanimous supporters.
