What opportunities have helped shape your career?

I’ve been really fortunate to have great mentors both inside and outside of my work. Those individuals have guided and modeled for me what it looks like to be a professional woman, engaged in the community, and a successful financial advisor.

What words of wisdom or advice do you live by?

My boss, and now business partner, says “if it was easy everyone would do it.” It’s important for me to remember that I’m a problem solver, and it’s my job to escort clients to the finish line of the task at hand. Or, when markets or life events are tumultuous, it’s my job to be steady for clients and help alleviate anxiety during transition.

How do you make sure you stay connected with your professional network?

I’m a member of a number of women’s organizations such as the Junior League and Younger Woman’s Club. I also keep in touch on a personal level with clients, centers of influence and colleagues on social media, which is a good way to create rapport when connecting in person.
