How did you discover your passion for what you do?

I love organizing in general, and spreadsheets are my most favorite way to organize things! It was only natural that I started working with data. I grew up as a member of the National Charity League with my mom and learned from an early age what giving back can do for your community and also for yourself. Thank you to my mom for instilling this very important life lesson in me!

What opportunities have helped shape your career?

Relationship building and networking. No matter how technical or detailed the data or problem is, it always comes down to having a good relationship with your team members. You get from it what you give to it. Last year, as a Junior League of Austin Merchant Co-Chair, was one of the most challenging years of my life. But I have personally grown immensely from this and gained some pretty amazing friends! It has helped me to be a better team member throughout all aspects of my life.

What words of wisdom or advice do you live by?

“Today I Choose Joy” – I have a small sign that I see every day which reminds me to choose joy!
