How did you discover your passion for what you do?

Unfortunately, my aunt was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I became her caregiver and immediately enrolled myself into a nursing program. Providing care soothes me. I truly believe I am helping making a positive difference in the world of nursing. This is even more vital with what our country is going through. Unfortunately, COVID-19 is affecting all of us.

What words of wisdom or advice do you live by?

My father always tells me, “If it was easy, anyone can do it.”

How do you make sure you stay connected with your professional network?

I am involved with my college’s alumni network and many nursing associations.
