How did you discover your passion for what you do?

I discovered my passion for business and entrepreneurialism at a very young age. Growing up in an entrepreneurial household, I witnessed my mother build her professional consulting firm from the ground up. Her work ethic, grit and determination, motivated and inspired me to one day do the same. When I learned about the staffing and recruiting industry, I saw it as my opportunity to further assist employers and create employment opportunities for people. I knew this was something I could put all of my heart and efforts into.

What words of wisdom or advice do you live by?

There are two pieces of wisdom I live by. One is from my mother and the other from Delta Zeta. My mother instilled in me from a very young age that “anything is possible.” I apply this to face any fears or doubts I have, and conquer my goals. The other piece of wisdom is from our Creed, “To those whom my life may touch in slight measure, may I give graciously of what is mine.” In every interaction I have, I ask myself how I can give to the other person. Whether it is time, empowerment, inspiration, monetary, etc., I always look to give a piece of me to whoever may need it for the moment being.

Which Delta Zeta shared value resonates with you the most, and why?

Empowerment resonates with me the most because I believe we can collectively achieve more when we empower one another. Sometimes, others just need an ounce of encouragement and empowerment to achieve greatness for themselves and all those around them. Empowerment positively affects generations to come.
