Serve Globally with Delta Zeta: How to Join a Starkey Hearing Mission Abroad

Share

Delta Zeta Women's Membership Organization | Delta Zeta Sorority

(Oxford, Ohio) Each year, Starkey missions take place in locations like Zambia, El Salvador and the Philippines — bringing the gift of hearing to children, families and entire communities. Their work transforms lives by connecting individuals, families and entire communities through the power of sound.

The partnership between Delta Zeta and Starkey Hearing Foundation now makes it possible for all Delta Zeta members to participate in international mission trips that truly change lives.

Imagine stepping into a clinic with your sisters, greeting families who have traveled far for this moment, and witnessing the joy on someone’s face as they hear clearly for the first time. You will experience unforgettable and deeply transformative moments while sharing the power of generosity alongside your Delta Zeta sisters.

Joining a Starkey mission through Delta Zeta is more than service — you will grow as a leader, immerse yourself in new cultures and return home with a deeper sense of purpose. This is your opportunity to make a global impact, represent Delta Zeta values and live out Starkey’s vision of a world where everyone can experience the life-changing power of hearing.

How to join a mission

Join a mission as an individual or through your chapter:

  • On your own: Create a personal fundraising page and raise $7,500 (lifetime giving starting July 1, 2025). Once you reach your goal and complete the mission form, you’ll be invited to join a mission of your choice. You’ll cover your flight, and Delta Zeta and Starkey will cover the rest (hotel, meals, transportation, excursions).
  • As a chapter: Chapters that collectively raise $75,000 (lifetime giving beginning July 1, 2025) and submit the mission form can send one member on a mission. The chapter or selected member covers the flight; Delta Zeta and Starkey will cover the rest (hotel, meals, transportation, excursions).

Be part of creating meaningful change, locally and globally, and launch your fundraising page today!
