Last year, you helped raise more than $253,000 (a record amount!) to help empower Delta Zeta women everywhere. Let’s see what we can do together this year!
It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to get involved in this online event to honor 123 years since Alfa, Mary, Anna, Julia, Mabelle and Anne founded Delta Zeta:

- Give! Every dollar raised during Founders Day Challenge empowers lifelong personal and professional growth for every sister.
- Inspire! Share your Delta Zeta story and why you give to the Foundation. When you post on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn, use #TrulyGiving and #EmpowerTheWoman.
Your gift during Founders Day Challenge helps every sister access life-changing resources:
- Scholarships to help collegians and alumnae achieve their educational and professional advancement goals.
- Leadership programming, including the Norma Minch Andrisek Leadership Conference and Leader Summit, empowers each attendee to trust her own abilities, advocate for others and move through difficult experiences with a growth mindset.
- Mental wellness resources including Protect Your Shell that help form the building blocks of lifelong well-being and steadfast friendships that serve as an antidote to loneliness.

Advocates are the true champions of Founders Day Challenge! You’ll spend the day reaching out to your Delta Zeta network to ask for their support. The Foundation will provide resources to help you, and you can earn Delta Zeta swag based on how much you raise!
Unlock matches to boost your gift!
During Founders Day Challenge, generous donors make sure that every gift makes an even bigger impact! When you make your gift, check to see if a sister in your area or from your chapter has offered a matching gift and be sure to select the one that best reflects your Delta Zeta experience. Throughout the day, power hours will be announced on social media, giving you the chance to unlock extra dollars and boost your impact in real time!
For example, National President Cathy Irvin Painter, Alpha Gamma, Alabama, is matching every gift made by a current or past Chapter President. If you served as chapter president, your impact will be doubled!
Collegians, give $19.02 during Founders Day Challenge to join the 1902 Loyalty Society.
Founders Day is a great time to join the 1902 Loyalty Society — an exclusive giving opportunity for collegiate members. This year, when you give $19.02 to the Delta Zeta Foundation, you’ll receive the special Ionic Column dangle to wear on your badge.
Brew Up Some Delta Zeta Spirit with the Collegian Coffee Challenge!
This year, the sisters of Alpha Theta at the University of Kentucky and Beta Gamma at the University of Louisville have challenged every collegian to join them in skipping the trip to the coffee shop and instead giving at least $6 to the Delta Zeta Foundation! To let you know they’re serious, they’ll match every dollar given by a collegian up to $3,858.
Whether you donate $19.02 to join the 1902 Society or take up the coffee challenge with a $6 donation, your gift will make an impact!
