Delta Zeta Announces 2022 National Headquarters Interns

(Oxford, OH) As Delta Zeta National Headquarters continues to support and empower our women to follow their shared value of curiosity and grow as lifelong learners, we are pleased to continue to offer National Headquarters Internship opportunities for our members. This year, we offered experiences with digital communications, development and special events and our global philanthropy program.

The following have been selected as Digital Communications Interns:

  • Abby Hanlon, Delta Upsilon Chapter, Marshall University
  • *Maggie Old, Omicron Gamma Chapter, Ohio University
  • Megan White, Epsilon Gamma Chapter, University of Central Missouri

*Returning for the Spring 2022 semester.

These three interns will work with our Communications and Marketing Department to gain meaningful experience and skills in the dynamic world of digital communication and marketing. They will exemplify our brand values, friendship, community, curiosity, generosity, empowerment and belonging, through print, video, photography and other visual design.

The following have been selected as Development and Engagement Interns:

  • Rachel Braddock, Delta Delta Chapter, Georgia State University
  • Mary Delgadillo, Pi Xi Chapter, University of Central Florida
  • Kathryn Duncan, Zeta Psi Chapter, Stephen F. Austin State University
  • Emily Ellis, Epsilon Xi Chapter, University of Central Arkansas
  • Emma Madsen, Beta Delta Chapter, University of South Carolina

These five interns will work with the Delta Zeta Foundation to gain meaningful experience and skills in the dynamic world of customer management, consultative sales, event planning and marketing. They will exemplify the Foundation brand of Empower the Woman through donor engagement, customer relations, communications, fundraising and event planning.

The following have been selected as Global Marketing and Philanthropy Interns:

  • Emily Boden, Alpha Sigma Chapter, Florida State University
  • Natalie Boyer, Delta Tau Chapter, Temple University
  • Mackenzie Pena, Omicron Gamma Chapter, Ohio University
  • Katerina Rushizky, Kappa Mu Chapter, Shepherd University
  • Maria Schelfe, Kappa Phi Chapter, University of North Carolina/Charlotte
  • *Marissa Steiner, Xi Iota Chapter, Muhlenberg College

*Returning for the 2022 calendar year.

These six interns will work with the Director of Community Relations and Philanthropy to support the Sorority’s fundraising efforts for Hearing and Speech. They will gain insight into a fast-paced, non-profit organization while assisting with projects that are integral to the Sorority’s philanthropic and community service success.
