Volunteering with purpose: Delta Zeta Launches Summer of SeriousFun!

Delta Zeta Women's Membership Organization | Delta Zeta Sorority

Delta Zeta is excited to introduce Summer of SeriousFun! Through this service initiative, members can volunteer at camps across the United States in support of our Global Service Project, SeriousFun Children’s Network.

Each summer, SeriousFun Children’s Network camps offer life-changing experiences to children living with serious illnesses and medical conditions at no cost to families. Summer of SeriousFun highlights dedicated Delta Zeta Volunteer Weeks at participating camps, where members have the opportunity to volunteer on-site together.

During these weeks, camps reserve volunteer roles specifically for Delta Zetas, creating a unique opportunity for members from chapters nationwide to serve together, build meaningful connections and experience camp life firsthand. Volunteers may support daily camp activities, assist counselors and medical staff and help create an environment where children can simply be kids.

Travel logistics are made easy for volunteers. Camps provide transportation from the airport, along with meals and lodging throughout the session, allowing members to focus fully on service and connection.

Summer of SeriousFun reflects Delta Zeta’s ongoing commitment to service, leadership and compassion. Whether volunteering at camp or supporting the initiative through awareness and advocacy, members play a vital role in advancing our partnership with SeriousFun Children’s Network and making a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.

Volunteer opportunities, camp locations and application timelines vary by camp.
