Delta Zeta Women's Membership Organization | Delta Zeta Sorority

The Delta Zeta Foundation is honored to announce the appointment of three new members to the Board of Trustees. Please join us in congratulating Lily Barwick, Pi Rho Chapter, University of West Georgia, Elaine Lee Jeffers, Theta Rho Chapter, California State University/Los Angeles and Lorrie Flores Tijerina, Omicron Alpha Chapter, St. Mary’s University.

Lily Barwick

Lily shares a long history of service and leadership with Delta Zeta that includes multiple collegiate and alumnae volunteer positions and two National Headquarters internships. She also recently served as a Norma Minch Andrisek Leadership Conference facilitator. Lily currently volunteers her time as Alumnae Relations Advisor with the Pi Rho Chapter at the University of West Georgia while serving as College Panhellenic Committee and Area Advisor for the National Panhellenic Conference. With a master’s degree in college student affairs administration and experience working with collegiate fraternity and sorority members, we’re excited for Lily to leverage her deep understanding of student leadership and organizational development to guide the Foundation’s mission to advance meaningful opportunities for Delta Zeta members.

Elaine Lee Jeffers

Elaine’s commitment to Delta Zeta is exemplified in her remarkable efforts to further alumnae connections in her region for more than 40 years, most notably serving as State Alumnae Chairman from 2012 to 2016 and 10 years of tireless dedication as the Area Alumnae Director of Area VIII. Her professional background in public sector management and strategic communication complements her extensive volunteer experience, making her an invaluable member of Delta Zeta and the Board of Trustees.

Lorrie Flores Tijerina

Lorrie has been a guiding force for countless Delta Zeta women during her 25 years of volunteer service that includes ten years of volunteering as the College Chapter Director of the Omicron Alpha Chapter at St. Mary’s University. She has also graciously shared her entrepreneurial and educational skills as a Day of Giving Ambassador, National New Member Education Chairman, National History Committee Member, Founders Day Challenge Co-Chair and as a member of the Foundation Advisory Committee among other volunteer positions. Lorrie’s passion for education and community engagement makes her a great advocate for supporting the Foundation’s vision and mission to create greater impact and lasting change.
