Milestone distribution reflects ongoing investment in the academic futures of Delta Zeta members

OXFORD, Ohio June 30, 2025 — The Delta Zeta Foundation is proud to announce a historic achievement in support of the academic excellence and lifelong learning of Delta Zeta members. For the 2025–2026 academic year, the Foundation has awarded a record-breaking $418,500 in scholarships to 115 members. This marks the largest annual scholarship distribution in the Foundation’s history.

This year’s recipients exemplify Delta Zeta’s values through their academic achievements and educational aspirations. A full list of the 2025 scholarship recipients is available on the Delta Zeta website.

Over the course of this biennium, the Foundation has awarded more than $830,000 in scholarships to members pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. This extraordinary achievement underscores the commitment among donors to empowering Delta Zeta women to reach their full potential—academically, personally and professionally.

“This record-breaking year is not just about celebrating the numbers, it is a reflection of the meaningful impact we are making,” said Margaret A. Purcell, Ph.D., Foundation President. “More members than ever are able to pursue their academic goals, reduce financial stress and create positive change in their communities. On behalf of the Delta Zeta Foundation, thank you to every donor who has made these opportunities possible for our sisters.”

As part of Delta Zeta’s continued commitment to academic excellence, applications for the 2026–2027 academic year will open on November 1, 2025, and are due by February 15, 2026. All eligible members are encouraged to apply for scholarship consideration in support of their educational goals.

Donor support plays a critical role in sustaining and expanding access to educational opportunities for Delta Zeta members. To learn more about making a gift and contributing to future record-breaking scholarship awards, please contact a member of the Foundation team
