Delta Zeta Announces 2023 National Headquarters Interns

(Oxford, OH) As Delta Zeta National Headquarters continues to support and empower our women to follow their shared value of curiosity and grow as lifelong learners, we are pleased to continue to offer National Headquarters Internship opportunities for our members. This year, we offered experiences with digital communications, development and engagement and our global philanthropy program.

The following members have been selected as Digital Communications Interns:

  • *Abby Hanlon, Delta Upsilon Chapter, Marshall University
  • Kharisma Langston, Pi Xi Chapter, University of Central Florida
  • Ella Thomason, Sigma Chapter, Louisiana State University

*Returning for the 2023 calendar year.

These three interns will work with our Communications and Marketing Department to gain meaningful experience and skills in the dynamic world of digital communication and marketing. They will exemplify our brand values, friendship, community, curiosity, generosity, empowerment and belonging, through print, video, photography and other visual design. The following members have been selected as Development and Engagement Interns:

  • Emily Boden, Alpha Sigma Chapter, Florida State University
  • Meghan Pierce, Pi Chi Chapter, Western Kentucky University
  • Sydney Benson, Pi Xi Chapter, University of Central Florida
  • *Kathryn Duncan, Zeta Psi Chapter, Stephen F. Austin State University

*Returning for the 2023 calendar year.

These four interns will work with the Delta Zeta Foundation to gain meaningful experience and skills in the dynamic world of customer management, consultative sales, event planning and marketing. They will exemplify the Foundation brand of Empower the Woman through donor engagement, customer relations, communications, fundraising and event planning. The following members have been selected as Global Marketing and Philanthropy Interns:

  • Gianna Ehrenberg, Alpha Chapter, Miami University
  • Emily Carpenter, Theta Eta Chapter, Creighton University
  • Camryn Sievers, Delta Alpha Chapter, California State University/Long Beach
  • Madelyn Miller, Sigma Chapter, Louisiana State University
  • Maddy Diana, Beta Lambda, University of Tennessee/Knoxville
  • *Maria Schelfe, Kappa Phi Chapter, University of North Carolina/Charlotte

*Returning for the 2023 calendar year.

These six interns will work with the Delta Zeta Philanthropy team to support the Sorority’s fundraising efforts for Hearing and Speech. They will gain insight into a fast-paced, non-profit organization while assisting with projects that are integral to the Sorority’s philanthropic and community service success.
