Which of the Delta Zeta shared values resonates with you the most? I'd choose curiosity and community. Curiosity fuels my creativity and lifelong growth. Community keeps me grounded, and I wouldn't be where I am today without my husband, family and friends.

Tell us about a defining moment in your career so far – how did it impact your future and what did you learn from it?

There wasn’t one defining moment in my career, but several turning points that forced me to pivot, re-evaluate and keep moving forward. The design industry has kept me on my toes, and instead of resisting change, I embraced it. A year of freelance led me to say yes to projects that stretched my creativity across industries and design categories. Those experiences broadened my perspective, made me a more versatile designer and led me to my current full-time role. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that every challenge made me a stronger designer, and the best opportunities rarely come from standing still. 

What advice would you give Delta Zeta sisters pursuing leadership roles in your field?

Say yes to as many projects and opportunities as you can, especially early in your career. You’ll do a lot of learning on the job, and that’s okay. Your willingness to learn is what will set you apart. In a creative field, it’s easy to compare yourself to others because our work is so visual. Comparison is the thief of joy. It’s easy to measure success by someone else’s title or career timeline, but neither tells the full story of growth. Focus instead on your own evolution. Keep learning, stay curious and adaptable, and build a reputation as someone people can’t wait to work with. 

How has being a Delta Zeta influenced your professional journey or approach to leadership?

One of the greatest gifts Delta Zeta gave me was a reminder that success is built through relationships. During college, I served in several leadership roles, eventually joining our Executive Board, but I never believed one position was more important than another. Every role played a part in helping our chapter succeed. That perspective has stayed with me throughout my career. Whether I’m leading a project or supporting one behind the scenes, I believe every contribution matters. I strive to be dependable, collaborative and someone people genuinely enjoy working with because the strongest teams are built when every single person feels valued.
