What is the Gracious & Steadfast Society?
This society recognizes donors with an active recurring monthly gift to the Foundation. The name comes from two lines of the Delta Zeta Creed:
“To those whom my life may touch in slight measure, may I give graciously of what is mine; . . . to those closer ones, love that is ever steadfast.”
How do I join?
Joining is easy! Visit trulygiving.deltazeta.org/monthly to set up your monthly recurring gift.
Do I have to give to a specific fund to be a member?
We encourage donors to join with a monthly gift to the General Fund to have the greatest impact on Delta Zeta sisters. However, the Society recognizes all Delta Zeta Foundation donors with an active recurring gift to any Delta Zeta Fund.

Is there a minimum or maximum gift to be in the Society?
The Delta Zeta Foundation accepts monthly gifts of $5 or more. However, we encourage monthly donors to consider a gift of at least $10.24 or $19.02/month to honor Delta Zeta’s founding on October 24, 1902. Donors will also be recognized for their cumulative gifts each fiscal year (July 1–June 30) within the Foundation’s Annual Giving Societies.
Suggested gift amounts to reach each Annual Giving Society:
- $10.24/month in honor of Delta Zeta Founders Day
Anniversary Society
- $19.02/month in honor of our founding in 1902
- $35/month in honor of Delta Zeta women who achieve 35 Under 35 recognition
- Loving Cup Society ($500-999/year) - $45-75/month
- Guy Potter Benton Society ($1,000-$2,499/year) - $85-200/month
- Leadership Society ($2,500-9,999/year) - $210-$825/month
- The Founders Society ($10,000+/year) - $835+/month
I made my first monthly gift. How do I know whether I am in the Society?
You should receive a welcome email within two weeks of initiating a monthly recurring gift. If you have not yet received this welcome email, please contact Erin Palmer, Annual Fund Manager, at [email protected] or call (513) 523-7597.
When will I receive my dangle?
New members of the Gracious & Steadfast Society are eligible to receive their dangle after the Foundation has received six consecutive monthly gifts. Donors should receive the dangle within a few weeks of the sixth gift being processed by the Foundation. To opt out of receiving your dangle or to check on its status, please contact Erin Palmer, Annual Fund Manager, at [email protected] or call (513) 523-7597.
I am not a monthly donor. Can I purchase the Gracious & Steadfast Society dangle?
No. This jewelry piece is a special thank-you gift for monthly donors and is not available for purchase.
Does my monthly gift count toward Founders Day Challenge?
Donors who begin a monthly gift during Founders Day Challenge are counted as part of the campaign in the year in which they initiate the gift. If you have an existing monthly gift established before Founders Day Challenge begins, we encourage you to make a special gift during the Founders Day Challenge to support our sisters and honor our founding.
