How did you discover your passion for what you do, and what opportunities have helped shape your career?

During my college years as a business major, my fascination with law grew, steering me towards forensic accounting—a perfect fusion of both interests. A defining moment in my journey was the practical experience I received through Northeastern University’s co-op program. These invaluable experiences firmly anchored my passion for the field.

Who has been an invaluable mentor for your professional career? What did you learn from them?

My career advisor at Northeastern University first introduced me to forensic accounting, sparking an inspiration that continues to drive my pursuit in this field today.

What words of wisdom or advice do you live by?

Never give up.

What is the most impactful book you have read, or podcast you have listened to, that relates to you professionally? What made it so impactful?

I recently enjoyed reading ”Smartcuts: How Hackers, Innovators, and Icons Accelerate Success” by Shane Snow. I love hearing about how others strategies achieve success.

How do you make sure you stay connected with your professional network?

I employ a blend of traditional and digital methods to maintain connections within my professional network. By attending industry conferences, workshops and seminars, I stay updated on the latest trends while nurturing in-person relationships. Furthermore, I utilize platforms such as LinkedIn for sharing and engaging, and I prioritize personal outreach through email or phone calls for deeper conversations or to extend support.

How have friendships helped you professionally? Is there a friend (or Delta Zeta sister) that has been behind you every step of the way on your career journey?

Friendships have been instrumental in my professional journey, offering not just emotional support but also valuable insights and opportunities.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

Going on fun adventures with my partner and our adorable golden retriever
