How We Use Your Gifts
Your gifts to the Delta Zeta Foundation support the Sorority’s vision to be recognized as a premier women’s organization in four key areas:
- Leadership Development: Inspiring Delta Zeta collegians and alumnae “to change the world” through support for the experiences and programs that ultimately shape who they are and what they will be able to achieve is at the heart of the Delta Zeta Foundation. These programs and experiences include the Alumnae Academy, Presidents Academy, Educational Leadership Consultants, Norma Minch Andrisek Leadership Conference and Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI).
- Personal Growth and Education: The Foundation provides funding for programs and resources that promote academic success, personal growth and education. Gifts to the Foundation’s General Fund help the Sorority meet the needs of all members and volunteers through programs like GreekLifeEdu, Tell Me Something I Don’t Know, RESPONSEABILITY, MentalHealthEdu, Job Bound and Enriching U.
- Scholarships: The Foundation awards scholarships in recognition of academic excellence and financial need. Each year, outstanding collegians and alumnae are able to continue their education because of the generation of alumnae who contribute to the General Scholarship Fund, existing scholarships or who establish new scholarships.
- Our History: Delta Zeta’s story is told throughout Delta Zeta’s National Historical Museum. This stately, red-brick mansion in Oxford, Ohio, the birthplace of Delta Zeta Sorority, is home to Delta Zeta’s National Headquarters, and offices for the Delta Zeta Foundation and National House Corporation. Special exhibits throughout the building bring to life Delta Zeta’s rich history with photographs and special mementos, including Founder Alfa Lloyd Hayes’ badge. The Museum is owned by the Delta Zeta Foundation and supported by contributions to the National Historical Museum Fund.
Gifts can be made to the Delta Zeta Foundation here.
