Training

Delta Zeta offers a variety of leadership training programs for its members, including online Collegiate Officer and Volunteer Training, Presidents Academy, and Chapter Operations Regional Experience (CORE). Each of these programs is designed to help members develop the skills they need to be effective leaders.

Delta Zeta equips collegiate chapter officers and volunteers with tailored online training via our LMS, The Learning Center, to help them achieve their goals. Our College Chapter Directors (CCDs) and advisors offer in-person support and guidance for all officers.

After being elected as an officer for your chapter, Delta Zeta provides the training and tools for you to excel in your role.

As an alumna, you'll carry this valuable experience into both your professional and personal life, showing potential employers you are a natural people leader.

Delta Zeta's Presidents Academy provides collegiate chapter presidents with valuable leadership training at the beginning of their term.

Led by experienced volunteers and Friends of Delta Zeta, this academy offers a platform for presidents to exchange experiences, learn effective leadership strategies, and align their goals with Delta Zeta's values.

The Chapter Operations Regional Experience, known as CORE, provides specialized training for select chapter officers and Advisory Board positions with Delta Zeta collegiate chapters.

CORE is held at the start of the officer’s term. This is a day of shared sisterhood, lasting leadership lessons, and compelling chapter officer training.

National Convention

The first Delta Zeta National Convention was held in 1907 at the Algonquin Hotel in Dayton, Ohio. During this gathering, delegates set the course to fulfill their dreams of becoming a national Sorority.

The National Convention is the governing body of the Sorority and has three primary business responsibilities:

  1. to approve amendments to the Constitution.
  2. to approve a national budget.
  3. to elect the members of National Council.

Held biennially, the National Convention also provides an opportunity for delegates and sisters to connect and learn together. The next event will be held in the summer of 2025.
