Delta Zeta to Host Special Mother’s Day Alumnae Initiation Service

Delta Zeta Women's Membership Organization | Delta Zeta Sorority

(Oxford, Ohio) This year, Delta Zeta is honoring the bond of sisterhood and family in a special way by hosting a virtual Mother’s Day alumnae initiation service on Sunday, May 18. Through alumnae initiation, we’re able to welcome women who embody the values of Delta Zeta into our lifelong sisterhood, including mothers, mother figures and other inspiring women who have made a difference in our members’ lives.

Alumnae initiation holds a meaningful place within Delta Zeta, dating back to our Golden Jubilee Celebration in 1952 when three of our Founders were initiated with the Ritual they gifted us. Today, the path to alumnae initiation provides a beautiful opportunity to extend our sisterhood to women who align with our core values of friendship, curiosity, generosity, empowerment, community and belonging.

The process of alumna initiation begins with a Delta Zeta member in good standing sponsoring a candidate and submitting a nomination form. From there, the alumna candidate is guided through the steps to officially join Delta Zeta; culminating in a virtual ceremony led by our National Ritual Team.

If your mom, aunt, sister or lifelong friend would make a great Delta Zeta, don’t hesitate to learn more about the path to alumna initiation on our website. For questions or help finding a sponsor, reach out to us at [email protected]
