Delta Zeta Sorority Announces Directors of Chapter Services Selected

(Oxford, Ohio) Delta Zeta Sorority is excited to announce the hiring of two staff members to its team, each in the role of Director of Chapter Services:

  • Mikayla (Kayla) Flott, Theta Eta, Creighton University
  • Lisa McCoy, Pi Theta, Rollins College

Both will supervise the operational aspects of assigned collegiate chapters; provide training, education and guidance of Delta Zeta policies; build relationships with campus personnel; provide support to collegiate chapter members, officers and advisors in all areas of chapter operations; work with the Field Team and ensure overall compliance and success for collegiate chapters.

Christy Phillips-Brown, Delta Zeta National President, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Kayla and Lisa to Delta Zeta’s staff. Their leadership and advocacy in student involvement, leadership development and fraternal life, combined with their passion for Delta Zeta, bring energy and creativity to this important role and success to our chapters.”

Professionally, Kayla recently served as an Academic Advisor at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Scott campus in Omaha, where she coordinated the new student enrollment and orientation program for the College of Engineering and mentored students, offering advice and support on topic selection, appropriateness and academic value of courses-making sure to align with career goals. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University and her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from Creighton University, where she became a member of Delta Zeta, and later served in the role of College Chapter Director.

Lisa’s professional experience includes serving as the Coordinator of Fraternity & Sorority Life in the Center for Student Involvement at the University of Richmond where she advised the National PanHellenic-Council and National Panhellenic Council, which included over 600 members. Lisa obtained her Master of Arts degree in Education and Human Development in Organizational Leading and Development at The George Washington University, a Master of Education degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs at the University of South Carolina and her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Rollins College. Lisa has also served as a Property Manager and as an Educational Leadership Consultant for Delta Zeta Sorority.
