Delta Zeta is proud to recognize an exceptional group of junior members selected as recipients of the 2026 Florence Hood Miner Award. These outstanding women represent the very best of Delta Zeta – demonstrating remarkable leadership, academic excellence, and meaningful service across their campuses and communities.
The Florence Hood Miner Award honors junior members who have made the greatest contribution to their college, chapter, and Delta Zeta through outstanding campus leadership while maintaining a strong academic record. This year’s recipients exemplify those ideals through their commitment to leadership, scholarship, and service.
Representing institutions of varying sizes – from large public universities to smaller campuses – this year’s recipients reflect a broad range of collegiate experiences, academic disciplines, and leadership pathways. Their involvement spans student government, academic honor programs, philanthropic initiatives, mentorship roles, and campus-wide leadership positions.
In addition to their campus leadership, these women have maintained impressive academic performance, with several earning perfect GPAs. Many have balanced demanding leadership roles alongside employment, internships, and extensive service commitments. Collectively, this year’s recipients highlight the diversity, strength, and impact of Delta Zeta leaders across the country.
