(Oxford, Ohio) — Delta Zeta Sorority will welcome more than 450 members from the United States and Canada to its 56th National Convention and Everlasting Orlando Sisterhood Experience, taking place July 31–August 3, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. This biennial event brings togethermembers for a weekend of strategic planning, education and celebration as the organization looks ahead to its 125th anniversary in 2027.
Programming will feature keynote presentations from two nationally recognized thought leaders. Dr. Gyl Kasewurm, Au.D. — a trailblazer in hearing healthcare and founder of Professional Hearing Services in St. Joseph, Michigan — will deliver an empowering keynote on entrepreneurship, personal growth and advancing Delta Zeta’s mission in hearing health. Widely respected for her innovation and leadership, Dr. Kasewurm is a recipient of the Distinguished Achievement Award from the American Academy of Audiology and a vocal advocate for women in business and healthcare.
Anne Bonney, CSP® — author, keynote speaker and host of the Dancing in the Discomfort Zone podcast — will present a high-energy keynote focused on building resilience through change and leading with emotional intelligence. Drawing from two decades of experience in corporate and nonprofit leadership, Bonney’s dynamic approach encourages members to embrace discomfort, tackle tough conversations and lead with courage.
In addition to keynote sessions, attendees will participate in interactive breakout sessions designed to provide practical skills and strengthen leadership capacity:
Drama Free & Conflict Ready – Led by Dr. Will Frankenberger, this session will guide members through identifying their personal conflict styles, distinguishing drama from authentic conflict and gaining tools to approach challenging conversations with courage and clarity.
Money Talks & Legacy Matters: Aligning Your Finances with Your Values — Now and for the Future – Facilitated by Dr. Dalisha Herring, CFP® and Alicia Favata, CFRE, this session will explore financial values, goal-setting and the basics of estate planning.
Showing Up Matters – In this mental health session led by Karlee Nuttelman, members will explore emotional literacy, empathy and boundaries. Through reflection and real-life scenarios, attendees will strengthen their capacity to support themselves and others.
Programming also includes a philanthropy celebration highlighting the Sorority’s global philanthropy and service partners, a Hike for Hearing and Speech kickoff event, Initiation and a Memorial Service.
On Saturday, August 2, Everlasting Orlando will culminate in the Rose Banquet, where national award recipients will be announced and honored. These awards represent the highest recognition for outstanding chapters, volunteers and members and follow the recent announcement of region and area honorees.
