How did you discover your passion for what you do, and what opportunities have helped shape your career?

I’ve always had a passion for sports . . . I loved playing them and watching them. I broke into TV in local television in Alexandria, Louisiana and essentially worked two full time jobs: one at the station, another as a sideline reporter for a network based out of CST. I worked hard on my versatility between sports and then got an opportunity at the largest regional network in the country, Fox Sports South where I primarily covered Braves baseball along with NBA, NHL and college football. At Fox Sports South, I continued to work on my versatility and knowledge among numerous sports, but also roles working as a reporter and a host.

How do you make sure you stay connected with your professional network?

There is a strong “sorority” of women in sports, especially in the baseball world. We all keep in touch sharing story ideas or just keeping up with each other through social media. We also understand each other very well because the schedule and lifestyle can be extremely chaotic.
