How did you discover your passion for what you do, and what opportunities have helped shape your career?

My grandma has always been about helping people, and my mom has told me the importance of blood donors, especially when she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer a few years back.

Who has been an invaluable mentor for your professional career? What did you learn from them?

Each story I hear from donors, about why they need blood or how it saved their loved one’s life, is what motivates me to strive in my career.

How do you make sure you stay connected with your professional network?

Weekly and sometimes daily check-ins with my team helps me stay connected. Even outside of work, we still managed to get together for some downtime.

How have friendships helped you professionally? Is there a friend (or Delta Zeta sister) that has been behind you every step of the way on your career journey?

My Delta Zeta sister Kaitlyn Williams has been one of my biggest supporters. We moved to Charleston, South Carolina together after graduation. We push each other to be the best we can be because we know we are capable of doing anything.
