What words of wisdom or advice do you live by?

Mr. Rogers said it best: “There are three ways to ultimate success: The first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind. The third way is to be kind.”

How do you make sure you stay connected with your professional network?

I attend local and national conferences in public health, immunization and communications to make sure I stay connected with others who do similar work across our state and the U.S. I also participate in numerous Facebook groups for nonprofit communications professionals and am part of the Colorado Healthcare Communicators group.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

I live in the beautiful state of Colorado, and there is nothing I love more than getting outside and exploring it, whether it’s exploring a new hiking trail, visiting a favorite camping spot or finding new delicious food to try on a restaurant patio.
