How did you discover your passion for what you do, and what opportunities have helped shape your career?

I decided I was going into nursing when I was in my sophomore year of college at Missouri State while I was the Programming chair of Delta Zeta. My brother was admitted to the ICU with a life-threatening infection and almost did not survive.

What words of wisdom or advice do you live by?

“This too shall pass.” This was my grandmother’s favorite saying. It can be applied to life in so many ways. Every moment in life is fleeting, and even a worldwide pandemic will eventually pass!
