What opportunities have helped shape your career?

The support of my community has led me to some amazing opportunities. I was introduced to an amazing organization called eWomen Network a few years ago, which introduced me to the business Mastermind I am in now. I have a great network of people who help push me, think outside the box, and share my story.

What words of wisdom or advice do you live by?

I believe in being a risk-taker, but also logical. I’ve been burned a few times but I try to always push through because I know there is so much one person can do if they are brave enough to try. I love the quote by Steve Jobs – “The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones that do.”

Which Delta Zeta shared value resonates with you most, and why?

I am where I am today because of the generosity of others, and I constantly share my gratitude to others. It comes full circle. Nobody can get through this crazy life alone. The impact of something that one person thinks is small is so significant to someone else. I’ve seen people light up over something as small as a single cupcake or a thank you card. Being generous doesn’t have to mean huge grand gestures with a lot of money. Being an authentic, kind human goes a long way.
