National Convention

DZ-2010-0790.jpgThe first Delta Zeta Convention took place in 1908, held in Oxford, Ohio. The 1910 Convention, held in Indianapolis, Indiana, is cited as the first "national" convention, as Delta Zeta had became a member of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) that year, and had her six existing chapters at that time represented at that convention.

The Centennial National Convention, held in 2002, came home to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and set an attendance record of 1,200 on Alumnae Day.

Today, a Delta Zeta National Convention is an event not to be missed. While the most important work of the Sorority takes place at the National Convention, both collegiate and alumnae members find that this special event lets them make new friends with Delta Zetas from all over the United States and Canada, reconnect with others and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood.
