Educational Leadership Consultants

As national representatives of the Sorority, Educational Leadership Consultants have one of the most important jobs within Delta Zeta. Their role is crucial to conveying the Sorority’s mission and fundamental ideals through on-site visits. Most Consultants keep a busy travel schedule, and have the opportunity to become acquainted with campuses and collegiate and alumnae members throughout the United States.

DELTA ZETA SORORITY ANNOUNCES EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONSULTANTS SELECTED FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR

(OXFORD, OH)  Delta Zeta Sorority announces the names of women who have been selected to serve as Educational Leadership Consultants for the 2010-2011 school year.

Educational Leadership Consultants visit Delta Zeta’s collegiate chapters around the country to advise chapter executive boards and chairmen, assist in the planning and implementation of membership recruitment activities and deliver leadership development and educational programs throughout the academic year.

The following women will serve as Educational Leadership Consultants for the coming school year:

  • Nickie Callahan, Pi Epsilon Chapter (Clemson University)
  • Sarah Cohen, Xi Theta Chapter (University of North Carolina - Wilmington)
  • Lauren Orr, Beta Xi Chapter (Auburn University)
  • Lorraine Villasenor, Xi Xi Chapter (North Georgia College and State University)
  • Mallory Yankush, Gamma Alpha Chapter (Baldwin-Wallace College)

Continuing in the position for a second year is:

  • Alicia Farrell, Pi Beta (University of Hartford)

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Advise chapter executive board(s) and chairmen
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of membership recruitment activities
  • Serve as the national liaison to chapters
  • Conceptualize, develop, and deliver leadership development and educational programs throughout the academic year
  • Confer with university/college administrators, Sorority officers, Greek and chapter advisors, alumnae volunteers, and headquarters staff.
