INDIVIDUAL ALUMNAE AWARDS

The Order of the Laurel
Established to honor those members for sorority service of exceptional merit covering a period of many years. This award shall be given by National Council only in special circumstances. The names of the recipients of the Order of the Laurel shall appear immediately beneath the names of the Founders in The LAMP of Delta Zeta and all official publications.

Achoth Award

The Achoth Award was passed to Delta Zeta from Phi Omega Pi at the time of our merger in 1948.  It shall be given to specially selected alumnae who have demonstrated, by long and faithful service, their continued loyalty to Delta Zeta particularly in their local communities.  The Achoth Awards are given each convention to alumnae who have worked in a volunteer capacity a minimum of 15 years after college. Completed Achoth Award nominations must be e-mailed by January 10, 2010.
