Since Delta Zeta's partnership with the House Ear Institute in 1985, Delta Zeta alumnae and collegians have raised over half a million dollars for the Institute's mission.
Our first project for the Institute was the furnishing of a parents' conference room. Delta Zeta provides funds for research and clinical services in the Children's Auditory and Research Center.
Help the House Ear Institute's Family Camp
The House Ear Institute’s Family Camp is held at Camp Hess Kramer in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains overlooking Malibu. Each year Family Camp is offered to families with deaf and hard-of hearing children as a forum for sharing feelings, comparing family experiences and exchanging information. Parents attend panel discussions and workshops led by professionals in fields of learning, social services, psychology, and pediatric audiology, while their children participate in fun learning activities involving arts and crafts, dance, and outdoor recreation.
You can help the House Ear Institute's Family Camp by providing the following items on their Wish List for the camp:

- Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) donations – including new doorbells, telephone and fire alarm alert products, text messaging products etc. for speech and hearing. Raffle prizes for children and teens of all ages, including - stuffed animals, toys, electronic devices, etc.
