The Delta Zeta Foundation Wins Two Awards at North-American Interfraternity Conference’s THE Foundations Seminar

(Oxford, OHIO) The Delta Zeta Foundation received top honors for the 1902 Loyalty Circle Campaign and the In Touch e-newsletter at the North-American Interfraternity Conference’s THE Foundations Seminar held in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 22-23, 2008.

For nearly 17 years, the North-American Interfraternity Conference has sponsored an annual program for sorority and fraternity foundation executives, staff and volunteers. Unique to the Greek world, THE Foundations Seminar is the only such program devoting its entire agenda to sorority and fraternity foundation fund raising.

At the Awards of Distinction Dinner, more than 20 awards were given to sorority and fraternity foundations for their work in a variety of venues. The Delta Zeta Foundation’s 1902 Loyalty Circle Campaign was recognized as the Best Student Development Effort in the Fundraising category and the e-newsletter, In Touch, which debuted in the fall of 2007, was recognized as the Best Electronic Newsletter in the Donor Education/Publication category. Chris Kolodgie Kern, Delta Zeta Foundation Director of Development, accepted the award on behalf of the Foundation. Also representing Delta Zeta were Ruth Weider Patterson, Foundation President; Marvona Easley Tavlin, Secretary/Treasurer; Nancy Russell, Trustee and Sonja Nay Wise, Trustee.
