DELTA ZETA SORORITY RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL ASSOICATION OF BUSINESS COMMUNICATORS COMMUNICATIONS AWARDS

(Oxford, OHIO) Delta Zeta Sorority has received two Silver Quill awards from theInternational Association of Business Communicators (IABC). The awards recognize
excellence in business and organizational communications and honor outstanding tactics, strategies and communications professionals. IABC is a global network of communication professionals committed to improving the effectiveness of organizations through strategic interactive and integrated business communication management. The awards received are:
- Award of Excellence forthe Sorority’s collegiate education program, Tapping Into Your True Potential, which educates collegiate members on how to implement behavioral and health changes to increase their self-esteem and maintain physical and mental balance.
- Award of Merit for the article “Delta Zeta Gives,” which appeared in the Sorority’s national magazine, The LAMP, and which described the organization’s philosophy of philanthropy and details Delta Zeta’s partnerships with The Painted Turtle camp, an innovative medical specialty camp and family care center for children who have chronic and life-threatening illnesses (associated with Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall camps) and The Starkey Hearing
Foundation, which delivers more than 20,000 hearing aids annually through more than 100 hearing missions around the world and promotes hearing health awareness while supporting research and education.
