(Oxford, OH)  Delta Zeta Sorority and the Delta Zeta Foundation made two major donations to the Hearing and Speech Center of Florida at the Sorority's recent National Convention held in Miami, Florida.

Delta Zeta members who attended the Convention collected wish list items for the Center prior to coming to the event. The items, totaling over $5,000 in value, included 684 books for the Center's "Pre-Literacy Read Aloud" project, 547 DVDs for therapy sessions, a video camera, a digital camera, laminator, photo paper and printer ink.

Delta Zeta's national philanthropy, supported by both collegiate and alumnae chapters, is speech and hearing and The Painted Turtle camp, which provides a year-round, life-changing environment and authentic camp experience for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. The Sorority has been dedicated to philanthropy since its founding.
