The National Council of Delta Zeta is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaylene Phelps Braxton, Xi Theta ’88, as a Trustee on the National Housing Corporation Board.  She will serve as the Vice President - Local Housing.  In this capacity, she shall have general supervision of the newly established Local Housing Committee.  Jaylene has served Delta Zeta in multiple volunteer roles, most recently as College Chapter Director for the Beta Delta Chapter at the University of South Carolina, and will bring a good background in house management to the housing team. 

The Local Housing Committee will be available to respond to housing issues for collegiate chapters, through the interaction with local housing corporations, Regional Collegiate Coordinators, College Chapter Directors or others as may be necessary.  In addition, the Local Housing Committee will receive the annual reports from local housing corporations and annual budgets, Bylaws, and Federal Tax Returns.  The committee will monitor chapter housing operations to identify potential issues and provide timely feedback.  So that any housing questions or needs can be addressed by the National Housing Corporation – please direct all inquiries to nhc@dzshq.com.  A member of the housing team will follow up with you.
