Delta Zeta Sorority Installs Theta Zeta Chapter at University of Akron in Ohio

(Oxford, Ohio) The National Council is pleased to announce the installation of the Theta Zeta Chapter at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio on March 19, 2017.

“Delta Zeta Sorority is excited to join the University of Akron community,” said Diane M. Stecher, National President. “We bring personal and leadership development possibilities, as well as the opportunity to make a global impact through philanthropy, to women students at the university. Delta Zeta’s values-based experience is congruent with the university’s mission to ‘create knowledge, educate students, first and foremost, assisting them to cultivate a life of the mind … and to disseminate knowledge.’ The university contributes ‘to the general well-being of our academic disciplines, the university, and the community beyond.’ Because Delta Zeta cares to make a difference in the communities we call home, we are proud to be a part of the University of Akron.”
