We are Serving Globally So the World May Hear

The women of Delta Zeta are global citizens working together and with others to make our communities, and those the world over, better.

Our goal to raise $5,000,000 for the Starkey Hearing Foundation started with Delta Zeta’s Hike for Hearing in February 2015 and has now become Heart for Hearing. We are realizing a dream of opening speech clinics for those who have only just begun to hear.

In 2016, Delta Zeta challenged our collegiate members to raise at least $1,000, and any member who achieved or exceeded $1,000 would be entered into the contest to represent her chapter on a global mission with Starkey. Our highest fundraiser raised over $3,500.

The winners of the global mission contest are beginning their journeys with Starkey this fall, and will share their stories with us along the way. The first mission, in Toluca Mexico, will be underway shortly, and these members will be an important part of that mission and join Virginia Gilbert Loftin, President, Delta Zeta Foundation, Alpha Gamma, University of Alabama and Starkey on site:
